Cinda Lee Riding

Cinda Lee Riding passed away Saturday, October 6, as a result of an automobile accident. The youngest of ten children, Cinda was born in Delta, Utah, on May 9, 1972, to L. Kennard and Marjorie Dawn Riding.
Cinda graduated from Delta High School in 1990 and received her cosmetology license the same year. She married Samuel B. Draper in the Manti Temple in 1992. They later divorced. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
Cinda then married Lance R. Carter. They later divorced. She graduated from the Police Academy and worked for several years at the Central Utah Correctional Facility located in Gunnison, Utah.
Cinda was a devoted mother who loved her children. Recently, she had been especially busy decorating the Freshman Football team’s lockers before each game. She loved scrapbooking and sewing, and she was a great cook. Cinda had an infectious laugh and was a huge tease. Her loving pinch was known by everyone in the family. She will be missed by so many.
Cinda is survived by her children, Bodie and Brayden Draper, both of Hinckley, Utah. Coy R. Carter of Delta and a stepdaughter, Alissa Carter, of Provo, Utah. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Alan (Shariden) Riding, Delta, Lauralee (Kayle) Dutson of Stockton, Utah, Steven Riding of Delta, Camille (Shane) Rowley of Delta, Marcia (Karl) Mecham of Delta, Dana (Ted) Rempp of Delta, Neal (Trish) Riding of Delta, Jillyn Riding of St. George, Utah and Stace (Autumn) Riding of Grantsville, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct.13, 2012 at the First Ward building, 222 West 200 North in Delta at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing on Friday, Oct. 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the First Ward building and again prior to the services on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:40 AM.
Interment will be at the Delta City Cemetery under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
